Ryan Chambers – Writer and Founder
Ryan Chambers is the visionary behind MusicalAdvice.com. A seasoned musician and music educator, Ryan combines his extensive teaching experience with a deep passion for helping musicians excel.
Ryan has spent years perfecting his craft, from earning All-State Band honors twice on the bass clarinet to guiding bands to top placements at UIL Concert and Sight Reading contests. As the site’s founder and primary writer, he ensures the content is insightful, actionable, and inspiring for musicians of all skill levels.
Beyond the site, Ryan is a devoted family man, married to his high school sweetheart Amanda, and the proud father of three children. He also co-hosts a podcast, “Starcastic Remarks,” where he channels his love for hockey and storytelling.
Scott Cross – Senior Music Consultant
Scott Cross serves as the Senior Music Consultant for MusicalAdvice.com, lending his extensive experience in band direction and music education to the site’s content.
As the Director of Bands for Farmersville ISD since 2012, Scott has nurtured countless young musicians and developed award-winning ensembles. A graduate of Henderson State University, his leadership and expertise set a benchmark for excellence in music education.

Clinton Cox – Percussion Specialist & Content Reviewer
Clinton Cox is the Percussion Specialist and Content Reviewer for MusicalAdvice.com. With a Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance from Butler University and years of teaching experience, Clinton ensures the site’s content is rhythmically sound and technically accurate.
Clinton has worked with renowned musicians and composers, bringing a unique perspective to percussion techniques, equipment reviews, and educational resources. His role involves reviewing and refining content to meet the highest standards of musical expertise.
Chloe Caradonna – Researcher and Instrument Specialist
As the Researcher and Instrument Specialist for MusicalAdvice.com, Chloe Caradonna brings fresh perspectives and in-depth knowledge to the platform.
A recent graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce, Chloe has extensive experience as a performer, teacher, and leader in the music community. From her time as a Colorguard Captain to her membership in Tau Beta Sigma, Chloe has demonstrated a commitment to excellence. She specializes in clarinet and colorguard, contributing valuable insights to content focused on instrument techniques and performance tips.
Chloe is also the Founder and Head of Content at Headphone Advice, where she channels her passion for audio technology and music into providing audiophiles with reliable advice and insights into the world of headphones.
Stacy Haag – Creative Content Contributor (Colorguard & Choreography)
Stacy Haag serves as the Creative Content Contributor, specializing in colorguard and choreography. Her expertise ensures that MusicalAdvice.com provides resources that inspire creativity in both performance and teaching.
As the Colorguard and Winterguard Director for Farmersville ISD, Stacy has honed her skills in choreography and instruction. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, she combines her formal education with hands-on experience to create engaging content for colorguard enthusiasts and educators.
